A lighthearted moment unfolded when a baby elephant playfully knocked over a tourist trying to capture a selfie with the animal.
The incident took place at the Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary in northern Thailand. As a couple posed in front of a group of elephants, the youngest of the herd decided to stir things up.

While the couple crouched down to take their photo, the young elephant approached, nudging the woman with its trunk before turning its attention to her partner.
In the clip, three elephants stand calmly behind the couple, but the smallest one soon grows restless and takes the opportunity to cause some harmless mischief.

As the man adjusted his camera, the baby elephant stretched out its trunk and moved forward.
The woman quickly stood up to avoid being knocked over, but her boyfriend remained focused on getting the perfect shot.
The playful elephant persisted and eventually pushed the man to the ground.

According to reports, their guide advised the tourists to avoid turning their backs on the elephants, particularly the younger ones, known for their playful antics.
The sanctuary, located about 60 kilometers from Chiang Mai City, is part of a conservation project to provide a natural environment for endangered elephants.
